Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

LovingBooking (“we”, “our”, or “us”) helps businesses take bookings and helps customers make them. Your data makes that possible, and looking after it properly is part of the job. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Privacy at a glance

  • We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
  • We don't run ads. There are no advertising trackers or marketing cookies on LovingBooking.
  • We never see your customers' card details. LovingBooking does not process, hold, or transfer booking payments. Payment details for bookings never touch our servers.
  • Your booking data belongs to your business. We use it only to run your booking page — never for our own marketing.
  • You can leave any time. Delete your account and we delete your personal data within 30 days.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the platform:

  • Account details: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored only in hashed form — we cannot read them.
  • Business details: The information you choose to show on your booking page, such as your business name, address, services, staff, and opening hours.
  • Booking details: The name, contact details, and appointment information a customer submits when booking. This data is held for the business being booked and is used only to manage that booking.
  • Content you upload: Images such as your logo, cover photo, and staff photos, stored with our secure cloud storage provider.
  • Usage information: Standard technical data (such as browser type and IP address) and product analytics that show us how the platform is used — which may include session replays of in-app activity in which anything typed into a form is masked before it ever reaches us. We use this solely to fix issues and improve the product, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To run your booking page and manage appointments
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, and account emails
  • To bill businesses for their LovingBooking subscription
  • To answer support requests
  • To keep the platform secure, reliable, and improving
  • To meet our legal obligations

That's the whole list. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

3. Payments

LovingBooking is not a payment processor and never touches the money for bookings. If a business chooses to accept payment for a booking, the customer pays the business directly, outside our platform — we only record whether the business has marked a booking as paid. Card details for bookings are never entered on, sent to, or stored by LovingBooking. Subscription billing for businesses (paying for LovingBooking itself) is handled by a PCI-compliant payment provider; we never see or store card numbers for that either.

4. How We Share Your Information

We never sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform, and only the minimum each one needs:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers that run our application and database and store uploaded images.
  • An email delivery provider that sends booking confirmations, reminders, and account emails on our behalf.
  • A payment provider that handles subscription billing for businesses.
  • An analytics provider that processes the usage information described above.
  • Calendar and video providers you connect yourself — if a business links its Google, Microsoft, or Zoom account, booking details are shared with that provider to create calendar events or meeting links (see the next section).

Every provider we use is bound by contractual data protection commitments, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

5. Calendar & Video Integrations

Connecting your calendar or video account is entirely optional and always under your control. If you connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, we use the connection for two things only:

  • Free/busy times from your calendar, used solely to hide unavailable slots on your booking page. We never read the contents of your other events.
  • Creating and updating events for bookings made through LovingBooking.

We do not share calendar data with anyone else or use it for advertising. LovingBooking's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. If you connect Zoom, we share only the service, time, and duration needed to create the meeting link. Disconnect any integration at any time from your dashboard and we immediately delete the stored access credentials.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your information only while your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Delete your account and we remove your personal data within 30 days, except for the minimum we are legally required to keep. You can also ask us to delete specific data at any time using the contact details below.

7. Data Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit
  • Passwords stored only as salted hashes — never in plain text
  • Secure, HTTP-only cookies for session management
  • Regular security reviews of our platform

8. Your Rights

Your data is yours. Depending on your location you may have formal legal rights to the following, but we honour these requests for everyone, wherever you are:

  • See the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Have your data deleted
  • Object to or restrict how we process it
  • Take a copy of your data with you in a portable format

Just email us — no forms, no hoops.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies that make the platform work (like keeping you signed in) and analytics cookies that help us understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. Full details are in our Cookie Policy, and you can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date. We will never quietly reduce your protections.
